On the night Bunpan Duomo heard a strange cry echoing from beyond the mountains, he had a dream filled with colors he had never seen before. Since then, he declared that place a sacred site, vowing to protect it so that it would never be taken by anyone.

In truth, no one ever tried to seize the tiny island he called sacred. It wasn’t that Bunpan wanted to keep the place all to himself. He longed to show those dream-colors to someone else, but unfortunately, the island was far too small for two people to sleep on together.
